How's the weather up there?
The temperature in Montreal varies a lot from one season to the next and even during each season. Winters, which really starts in mid-November and usually ends in late-March early April, are cold (!) but not as cold as some might think. The average temperature in winter is around -10c (14F) but there are days where it can drop to -30c (-22F). The months of January and February are the coldest. Spring temperature varies a lot during the day, it starts out cool (around freezing temperatures) but goes up to 15c (59F) at its warmest which makes it more difficult to choose your clothes for the day since you have to be warm in the morning but you have to be able to remove some layers as it warms up. Autumns (starting late August) are basically the same, cool in the early mornings, warms up during the afternoons then cools down at night. Summers are hot and especially humid. The average is around 20c (67F) but can go up to more than 35c (>90F) not considering the effects of humidity. Here's a table detailing the monthly temperature average:
