Description

The mission of the Montréal Nature Museums Foundation is to support the educational, conservation and research activities of the Biodôme, the Insectarium, the Botanical Garden, and the Planetarium, Montréal's four nature museums. To that end, it raise funds allowing the nature museums to carry out their priority development plans. The Foundation thereby contributes to the advancement of natural science and scientific literacy, and promotes public interest in the environment, sustainable development, and biodiversity conservation. Through its educational, scientific, cultural, social and artistic interventions, the Foundation raises public interest in scientific discovery and lifts the veil on some of nature's secrets. It thereby contributes to the enhancement and preservation of our natural heritage for current and future generations.
